Summary
The Otway Basin is an extensive onshore and offshore oil and gas basin along the South East coast of Australia. The field has a long history of exploration and has been home to many large projects during its development period.
OSD provided project and construction management to Origin with the abandonment of these aging assets including the Heytesbury gathering and flowlines.
OSD’s expertise and extensive knowledge of the assets, region and standards required helped support Origin through their decision-making process and execution of the pipeline abandonment. Our services included the scoping of works, tendering and procurement support and on-site management of contractors during abandonment activities.
