Summary

OSD provided engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) services to Pacific Islands Energy for the Motu Fuel Supply Pipeline.

The pipeline is DN300, API 5L Grade B carbon steel material designed in accordance with the requirements of AS2885 Pipelines, Gas and Liquid Petroleum.

The pipeline scope commences at the flange connection to a flexible unloading hose at a PLEM located in Bootless Bay, Papua New Guinea. It runs on the sea floor for a length of approximately 4 km and then runs as a 7.5km buried pipeline from the shore crossing up to the connection to PEAL receiving manifold at the Jackson International Airport Bulk Liquids Storage Facility.

The scope is being delivered in four separable portions as follows:

  • Concept Design
  • End Engineering & Design (FEED) and Environmental Approvals
  • Detailed Design
  • Procurement Management
