Summary
To evaluate the feasibility of a system to transfer both sylvanite and process salts from its proposed mine sites in Spain to a filter plant and port facilities at either Tarragona or Barcelona ICL Iberia. Invall engaged OSD to undertake an Operations Study to evaluate four alternative pipeline routes. Brine from the dewatering facility at the port is to be recycled back to the mine site via a return water pipeline. Preliminary sizing and order of magnitude cost estimates were developed for each option with design throughout at 12.5 and 14 MTPA.
